The Jongbang Trading Company with its legal address in Sariwon, North Hwanghae Province, is mainly engaged in production, export and processed trading of agricultural produces.

It has several export goods production bases including farms specializing in the production of materials for export and a mushroom farm.

The farm specializing in the production of materials for export is located in the area with climatic conditions favourable for farming, so it promotes exchanges and cooperation with foreign counterparts in cultivation technology of superior crops with great economic profit and demand in international market.

The mushroom farm mass-products edible and medicinal mushrooms by making its production industrial and intensive. An integrated manufacturing system is established to flow-line all processes, including pulverizing raw materials, moulding substrate and culturing mushroom spawns and provide favourable conditions for growing Pleurotus eryngii,Corprinus comatus, Formes japonicas, Flammulina velutipes and Pleurotus ostreatus. Ganoderma lucidum which is known from of old as the elixir of life is cultivated at the farm.

Agricultural produces like sesame, perilla and red bean, and other grasswork articles, such as straw baskets, straw hats, straw cushions and various bush-clover trays, are also the major export indices of the company.

The company has several bases for processing glass, assembling cultivators, and producing injection-moulded boots and raincoats. Its glasswork are elaborate and of good quality to satisfy the orderers.
