The Sunan Ostrich Farm in Sunan District of Pyongyang has large breeding grounds, an ostrich meat processing factory, a base that turns out various products made of ostrich hide and bone, and other facilities. 

The feed mill at the farm breeds Hermetia illucens and other high-protein insects. 

The ostrich meat processing factory equipped with modern facilities turns out variousprocessed meats. 

On both sides of the farm are the breeding and fattening grounds and the ground for young ostriches. People call it an ostrich street. 

The ostrich meat and eggs from the farm are very tasty, and the hides, egg shells and plumes are changed into bags, footwear and handicrafts as demanded by customers. 

It also serves as a tourist attraction.
